On our last day together, we just laid around the house. We had gone out dancing the night before, and had stayed up all night talking, so we hadn’t slept much. Diana was also feeling a bit weak from having not eaten much in the six days prior.
We both kept asking each other what we should do for the day. I kept feeling like we should get outdoors, but we couldn’t seem to get motivated. She loved being in nature.
We never managed to do much that day other than her taking me to dinner at Waffle House at around 7pm. Had I known this was our last day together, I would have gotten us into nature to take pictures. And I sure as hell wouldn’t have chosen Waffle House for dinner.
